Far Cry 4 Coming to PS4, PS3 This November – PlayStation.Blog
Far Cry is back! We’re video2mp3 proud to announce that Far Cry 4 , the latest installment in our critically and player acclaimed FPS series, will be available this year on November 18th in North America on PS4 and PS3 .
Of course, you can expect the same unique, open-world gameplay that has set Far Cry apart from more traditional shooters. Far Cry 4 will be set in Kyrat, a breathtaking, perilous, and wild region of the Himalayas struggling under the regime of a despotic, self-appointed king. This is not your standard FPS. You will be equipped with a vast array of weapons, animals, and vehicles, and our highly detailed and interactive open-world will let players write their own story across an exotic and varied landscape.
Customers who pre-order Far Cry 4 receive a free upgrade to the Limited Edition which includes Hurk’s Redemption, a series of three action-packed, single-player missions featuring the popular character Hurk from Far Cry 3′s DLC. The Limited Edition also includes Hurk’s signature harpoon gun called “The Impaler.” The pre-order is now available at all major retailers.

I wish you would have just made this a spin off rather than a full sequel, video2mp3 and cross-gen really shouldn’t have happened. Guess I’ll wait for 5, 3 was great but I don’t see this being more than a rehash.

Looks great! This will give me even more motivation to finally finish up the Far Cry 2 platinum! I’ve been slowly plodding away at the FC2 multiplayer trophies for 2 years now, and haven’t even gotten to FC3. And then you brought out the original FC on PS3 not too long ago! So much work to do and not enough time….
I put about a hundred hours into FC3 mostly video2mp3 sneaking around with my bow and killing dudes, I can’t wait for this! So glad its coming this year!
Wish it was new-gen only (PC, PS4, XBO), but I guess it’s been in development for awhile, so understandable that it’s not.

While this isn’t the game I’m waiting for from this company (The Crew), this looks like it’s goning to be a good addition to my library. I loved FC3, especially the bow. Dead silent long range sniping? Yes, please.

Ooooookay, today is really a strange date to announce it. This come out of nowhere… I hope to see something good at E3, cause I liked the FC3 and Blood Dragon, but since there are no images or gameplay footages at the moment it is just a name and says nothing to me. Sorry not hyped.
Still need to finish FarCry 3 which is embarrassing all by itself. Such a great game! I am excited to know this will be out in 2014! Really wish they would leave the PS3 behind and make this a next gen only experience, oh well. Thanks for the great news, can’t wait to play!
Ugh… why is it that a year after the PS4′s launch, PS4 owners still have to suffer from cross-gen multi-plats? Far Cry 3 is one of the best games I played last generation, and it sucks that we’re (PS4 owners) still having to compromise our experiences like this. AC4 is a pretty game, but I can’t help but notice that it just looks like a PS3 game with more detailed textures, which is exactly what it is, and exactly what we’re going to get with Far Cry 4. I know my comment won’t be popular with PS3 owners, as this is a major score for them (I still own a PS3 with over 90 games, btw), but PS4 players want true next-gen games that show us how amazing the PS4 is compred to last-gen hardware.
PS3 Day 1 Digital? If so, then it will be a day 1 buy for me. Can’t buy retail copies anymore because my PS3 disc drive broke about 1 year ago. ;(
One does not simply by 40 million PS4s!
