VU MIF Digital Science and Computing Centre 2014


Vilnius University, Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics mobile gadget - the total MIF IT students and IT staff work STScI born VU MIF Mobile applications laboratory. The gadget allows at any time to achieve the relevant pixlr information related to academic activities on university news, student and faculty schedules, lists of faculty and student groups. Downloading and install the app on your mobile phone, you can: access to the VU Faculty news MIF (by other faculty news), view your study and examination schedule, adding events in your personal calendar, create reminders, view details of teachers, pixlr the faculty information system manage the park gate opening / closing program pixlr (currently only MIF), technical equipment, the classrooms, share news and events.
At the moment pixlr the gadget is realized in the Android operating platform (requires version 4.0 or higher) and can be downloaded for free via Google Play online store. The first applet startup requires access to the Internet, and to successfully pixlr manage the gate opening / closing the program requires a GPS connection.
The number of users will reach 500 MiF students and staff. It is regularly tracked users' suggestions and comments prepared applets updates.
